Caroline Tran Photographer – Los Angeles Wedding Photography bio picture

about the artist

I've always loved telling stories, but never enjoyed writing. When I
found photography, it was the perfect medium for me to express myself. With each shoot, I unveil the unique stories of
my subjects, and tell them with beautiful imagery. People often tell me
that they feel like they know my clients just from reading my blog.

They say photographs are the only tangible memories after a wedding,
which means that my perspective is how you will remember your big day.  With that in mind, I have to capture the details (big and
small) in the most beautiful light. I want you to laugh and cry (tears
of joy, of course) when you look at your photos. Whether it's your wedding day or your babies growing up, time goes
by so fast, so it's
my job to document your story... beautifully.

I am based in Los Angeles, but love to travel.

Destination weddings are most certainly welcomed!

In order to give each client my full creative energy, I only take a limited number of weddings a year. (aka I book up fast and don't offer discounts.)

Michael. Paula. Proposal.

The perfect proposal.  Michael and Paula have been together for over 6 years.  Paula has been waiting so long for Michael to pop the question.  Michael came to Jonathan asking how he should propose.  Jonathan said, “You have to make sure there is a story!  She needs a story she can tell to her friends.”  So Jonathan suggested to have the proposal documented.  Michael told Paula that they were going to do a photoshoot for Christmas cards.

sultry. sexy. empowering.

Boudoir is such a beautiful experience. I remember from my own experience, I felt so empowered, confident, and just loved myself for who I am. Not only was I glammed up on the outside, but I also FELT good about myself inside. It was such a liberating feeling. I stopped caring about the flaws that I usually over criticize myself about and appreciated myself for who I am presently. It was no longer about the 5lbs that I need to lose, but just loving myself as-is at the moment.

This weekend, I had the joy of shooting my first boudoir – It is an eamazing feeling to shoot boudoir! Seeing the reaction of my client when she sees how hot she is makes me want to keep shooting boudoir. It felt so good to be able to give another female that liberating feeling.
