Caroline Tran Photographer – Los Angeles Wedding Photography bio picture

about the artist

I've always loved telling stories, but never enjoyed writing. When I
found photography, it was the perfect medium for me to express myself. With each shoot, I unveil the unique stories of
my subjects, and tell them with beautiful imagery. People often tell me
that they feel like they know my clients just from reading my blog.

They say photographs are the only tangible memories after a wedding,
which means that my perspective is how you will remember your big day.  With that in mind, I have to capture the details (big and
small) in the most beautiful light. I want you to laugh and cry (tears
of joy, of course) when you look at your photos. Whether it's your wedding day or your babies growing up, time goes
by so fast, so it's
my job to document your story... beautifully.

I am based in Los Angeles, but love to travel.

Destination weddings are most certainly welcomed!

In order to give each client my full creative energy, I only take a limited number of weddings a year. (aka I book up fast and don't offer discounts.)

Vietnamese Buddhist Wedding Photography | Julie & Ricky Part 1

It has been an amazing experience seeing everything unfold for Julie & Ricky. We shot their engagement ceremony and had tons of fun with their engagement/bridal/ttd session. Seeing it all from the start allowed me to really share in their anxiety and excitement from day 1.   Their wedding was a colorful, beautiful, and filled with emotions… not to mention long. There were 3 ceremonies and 2 receptions!! They did a perfect job of blending their two cultures together – their Vietnamese heritage, and their Americanized upbringing. I will have to break their day up in parts – the traditional Vietnamese ceremony, and then the Western ceremony.

Final touch…

I love how giddy she looks here. “I’m about to get married!”

I just love this picture.

The monk was hilarious. At the end of the ceremony, he says something along the lines of, “Well, if theres stuff you two would like to do now, you can feel free to do it.” I’m probably misquoting, but that’s what I made out with my limited Vietnamese.

I just love the monk in the background. He was so funny. I also love how colorful everything was. Stay tuned for the other 60% of the day!
