about the artist

I've always loved telling stories, but never enjoyed writing. When I
found photography, it was the perfect medium for me to express myself. With each shoot, I unveil the unique stories of
my subjects, and tell them with beautiful imagery. People often tell me
that they feel like they know my clients just from reading my blog.

They say photographs are the only tangible memories after a wedding,
which means that my perspective is how you will remember your big day.  With that in mind, I have to capture the details (big and
small) in the most beautiful light. I want you to laugh and cry (tears
of joy, of course) when you look at your photos. Whether it's your wedding day or your babies growing up, time goes
by so fast, so it's
my job to document your story... beautifully.

I am based in Los Angeles, but love to travel.

Destination weddings are most certainly welcomed!

In order to give each client my full creative energy, I only take a limited number of weddings a year. (aka I book up fast and don't offer discounts.)

Los Angeles Boudoir Photography

I’m back from Napa.  I forget how COLD it is in northern CA.  I packed nothing but summer dresses and they were all short-sleeved or sleeveless, including the tops I wore to shoot both nights.  It was cold and we both had our fair share of mosquito bites.  Poor Jonathan really swelled up though.  So now we know, wear long sleeves and apply bug repelent sun block when we shoot in Napa.   But everything was gorgeous there and I can’t wait to share pictures!  Worth every mosquito bite.  :)

So on a more happier note than bug bites, congrats to M on her wedding!  I can finally share these long awaited boudoir photos!    We got to shoot in the famous Skye Blu studio, where my inspiration for wedding photography all began.  In a nutshell, my passion/career all began with a bouoir shoot in this studio – you can ask me for the back story if you’re interested.  :)   But how amazing was it to be back in this studio on the other side of the camera!  Thanks Danielle!  I love you!

Most of the photos are for his eyes only (lucky guy!), but M graciously allowed me to share these more discrete photos with you all (lucky us!).

Rockin’ her Tiffany Novo ring:

lovely novo boudoir . . i do! hot

Hope you enjoyed them as much as I did.  I’m feeling a little under the weather since Napa (must’ve been the cold), so I’m going to hit the sack early tonight.  Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and have a great week!  Sorry if I haven’t responded to your email yet.  I will catch up with my emails tomorrow.

Out of Office.

Yesterday, I took a break from editing photos to spend time with a hobby that I have not touched in almost a year – sewing.  I used to take pictures of every item I sewed, but have not since last Halloween.  I actually used to sew most of the clothes I wore too, but time no longer permits that.  I’ve never been good at taking photos of myself, but for the sake of documentation, here ya go:

The long break from sewing made me a little rusty. This was actually my second attempt.

We’re flying out today to shoot a 2 day wedding in Sonoma.  We’ll be back Sunday.  Can’t wait to share!  Have a great weekend everyone!
