Destination Engagement Photography | Sandy & Duc

Sandy and Duc drove down from Nevada for a destination engagement session in sunny CA, so I HAD to take them to the beach.  Sure, it turned out to be cloudy that day, but that actually is better!  Sandy even brought her wedding dress out to play.    We both agreed that it’s too bad we weren’t doing a day-after session because it was tempting to jump into the water. 

They’re a super cute and fun couple.  These first two may look really romantic, but they were taken in between them cracking up and making faces, which I played up in the later photos below.

During our hike (yes, I forgot to mention that we had to hike a lot), we stumbled up a spot off the trail where someone had scattered rose petals all around.  How romantic!  So here’s Sandy and Duc’s fun version of romance.  hehe

Oh, I should’ve told them that Sunny CA does not have warm water.

So we had called it a night and were walking away when I turned around and saw them chest bumping!  They are too cute.

They were just so fun and cute – I really wanted to capture their personality in this shoot.  So I thought it would be perfect to do a photobooth/collage!

Sandy and Duc, Jonathan and I had such a great time hanging out with you two!  Hope you enjoyed CA and the oodles of souvenir (sand) you took home.
