Caroline Tran Photographer – Los Angeles Wedding Photography bio picture

about the artist

I've always loved telling stories, but never enjoyed writing. When I
found photography, it was the perfect medium for me to express myself. With each shoot, I unveil the unique stories of
my subjects, and tell them with beautiful imagery. People often tell me
that they feel like they know my clients just from reading my blog.

They say photographs are the only tangible memories after a wedding,
which means that my perspective is how you will remember your big day.  With that in mind, I have to capture the details (big and
small) in the most beautiful light. I want you to laugh and cry (tears
of joy, of course) when you look at your photos. Whether it's your wedding day or your babies growing up, time goes
by so fast, so it's
my job to document your story... beautifully.

I am based in Los Angeles, but love to travel.

Destination weddings are most certainly welcomed!

In order to give each client my full creative energy, I only take a limited number of weddings a year. (aka I book up fast and don't offer discounts.)

Out of Office

I will be heading out of town (vegas, baby!) tomorrow morning and will be back Monday, Dec 29.  I’ll respond to any emails then.  In the meantime, have a wonderful holiday!  Wishing you all much love and quality time with your loved ones.

I’ll leave you with photos from my Mammoth trip last week.  :)   It was SO cold up on the slopes (7 degrees… cold for most of us from LA) that it was unbearable to take off our gloves.  As a result, the only photo I have of me on the slopes is during a resting break.  Boring, but cool scenery.

a quick break

Group photo I took of my friends (hence why I’m not in the photo).  :(   I should just photoshop myself in there.  :D   It’s Jonathan with my high school & college best friend w/ their hubbies.

What can I say, I like to take jumping shots.  :)   They’re great jumpers though, aren’t they?

Photo of us jumping out of the calves deep snow.

yippee!

And me taking a shot at this jumping thing I keep making people do.  haha.

whee!

And then some quiet time back in our cabin.  I took a liking to this little pine cone that I kept calling an acorn.  oops!

pine cone

I like the organic pine cone with the inorganic straight lines and circle.

stripes and circle

And this was a conceptual idea I had.  I was playing up the tree in the background.  I call this photo homesick.  It’s like the pine cone misses his mom/dad tree.

Well, off to bed now!  Hope you enjoyed a little piece of my world.  Again, have a wonderful holiday!!

Thanks to all who played cans for comments with me!  I had fun delivering the cans yesterday and is thinking about what other charity I can do.  Any suggestions?  I would love to hear any creative charity ideas you all have!

In the meantime, check out this little cutie pie and his wonderful parents!
