Caroline Tran Photographer – Los Angeles Wedding Photography bio picture

about the artist

I've always loved telling stories, but never enjoyed writing. When I
found photography, it was the perfect medium for me to express myself. With each shoot, I unveil the unique stories of
my subjects, and tell them with beautiful imagery. People often tell me
that they feel like they know my clients just from reading my blog.

They say photographs are the only tangible memories after a wedding,
which means that my perspective is how you will remember your big day.  With that in mind, I have to capture the details (big and
small) in the most beautiful light. I want you to laugh and cry (tears
of joy, of course) when you look at your photos. Whether it's your wedding day or your babies growing up, time goes
by so fast, so it's
my job to document your story... beautifully.

I am based in Los Angeles, but love to travel.

Destination weddings are most certainly welcomed!

In order to give each client my full creative energy, I only take a limited number of weddings a year. (aka I book up fast and don't offer discounts.)

Wayfarer Chapel Wedding | Nelson + Jamia – Part 1

I have so much to blog, I don’t even know where to begin!  I wish there was more time in a day!

I’ll start with part 1 of Nelson & Jamia’s beautiful wedding at Wayfarer Chapel in Palos Verdes.  We started at their apartment where Jamia’s bridesmaids helped her get ready.

I love their red couch!

We then did their first look at Wayfarer Chapel.  I love how Nelson beamed when he saw Jamia!

first look

I love it when couples do a first look because we get lots of time for portraits.  It’s also a great way to share an intimate moment together alone and really soak up that first look.

I really love seeing them together.  They find comfort in each other – a good place to be.

Then it was time to line up for the ceremony!  Cute little flower girl was curious and anxious for the ceremony to begin.

And I’ll leave you with Jamia and her father about to enter…

Stay tuned for the ceremony & reception!!  And I have some personal photos to blog about too.  :)   Fun times!

April 1, 2009 - 8:03 am Larita Appiah - Wow! I don't normally comment on things, but this is just too gorgeous! Gorgeous bride, gorgeous dress, gorgeous couple, gorgeous colours, gorgeous light, gorgeous location... And you did a great job capturing it. I just love the way you present your photos, the way you get all the little details and different perspectives. Very, very impressive. I can't wait to see the rest of the photos from this wedding.
