Caroline Tran Photographer – Los Angeles Wedding Photography bio picture

about the artist

I've always loved telling stories, but never enjoyed writing. When I
found photography, it was the perfect medium for me to express myself. With each shoot, I unveil the unique stories of
my subjects, and tell them with beautiful imagery. People often tell me
that they feel like they know my clients just from reading my blog.

They say photographs are the only tangible memories after a wedding,
which means that my perspective is how you will remember your big day.  With that in mind, I have to capture the details (big and
small) in the most beautiful light. I want you to laugh and cry (tears
of joy, of course) when you look at your photos. Whether it's your wedding day or your babies growing up, time goes
by so fast, so it's
my job to document your story... beautifully.

I am based in Los Angeles, but love to travel.

Destination weddings are most certainly welcomed!

In order to give each client my full creative energy, I only take a limited number of weddings a year. (aka I book up fast and don't offer discounts.)

LACMA engagement photos | janet + ben

los-angeles - LACMA -engagement-photo-01

Janet and Ben had already known they wanted to do their engagement session at LACMA, so we’ve been super excited about shooting at the lamp post.  When we showed up, they had this really cool display made of all tupperware and other plastic goods!  Aren’t the colors amazing?

With their fun personalities, I wanted to do this already-done shot with more animation.  I got a more “normal” shot of this too, but I love the candidness of this :)

I love this following diptych:  It’s like a long kiss goodbye… so long that the train left!

Isn’t Janet so cute?  I’m so excited to see all her DIY projects at their wedding!

And finally the famous lampposts at LACMA.

And then Janet brought these cute mustache-on-a-stick.  This is probably (hard to decide b/c they’re so cute!) my favorite expression from the two of them:

Can baby Kayla get any cuter?  I thought I’d change it up today and do a baby post instead.  I headed down to their home in Irvine 6 days after Kayla was born.  Mom and Dad looked so cool – I forgot they just had a baby 6 days ago!

Congrats Sheldon & Kristin on your first baby!  Kayla is cutie and I look forward to watching her grow!  Thank you for welcoming me into your home.  Your home is not only beautiful, but warm and full of love too.
