If you missed it, this wedding was featured on Style Me Pretty yesterday! I first met Sue & Gregg last year when I shot their fun engagement photos in Maui. I fell in love with them the moment we met. Cameron was just 2 months old when we flew out there, so Sue & Gregg has really seen him grow, which makes them Auntie Sue & Uncle Gregg. They are one of the most genuine people I have met.
Their wedding was at the fabulous Mandarin Oriental, Washington DC. It was our first time there and we loved it! What a fabulous city! We loved all the free museums!
Sue had actually planned her wedding with high hopes of catching cherry blossom season. Mother nature had other plans and season came a month early this year. But even though we missed the blooms, cherry blossoms made a beautiful theme for their wedding. Ceci New York did a gorgeous job on all their stationery and Ritzy Bee Events pulled everything together flawlessly.
I love her Amsale dress and veil from Hitched Salon! And I love these cufflinks she got Gregg. The gears move too!
And I love her Lanvin necklace…
We then went to The Jefferson Memorial for photos. Check out the sea of tourist:
Forget “uncle bob”, as soon as we stepped out of the car, they were swarmed by tourist snapping their photo!
But we made it work and I love how it captures the spirit of DC.
