Caroline Tran Photographer – Los Angeles Wedding Photography bio picture

about the artist

I've always loved telling stories, but never enjoyed writing. When I
found photography, it was the perfect medium for me to express myself. With each shoot, I unveil the unique stories of
my subjects, and tell them with beautiful imagery. People often tell me
that they feel like they know my clients just from reading my blog.

They say photographs are the only tangible memories after a wedding,
which means that my perspective is how you will remember your big day.  With that in mind, I have to capture the details (big and
small) in the most beautiful light. I want you to laugh and cry (tears
of joy, of course) when you look at your photos. Whether it's your wedding day or your babies growing up, time goes
by so fast, so it's
my job to document your story... beautifully.

I am based in Los Angeles, but love to travel.

Destination weddings are most certainly welcomed!

In order to give each client my full creative energy, I only take a limited number of weddings a year. (aka I book up fast and don't offer discounts.)

Remember these adorable newborn photos?  Well look how much Ashlynn has grown since!

Love this initial reaction to the tutu:

And then fascination:

tutus and pink converse!

and this one just cracks me up:

It’s so amazing to see these babies grow!  from womb to 6 months… and the next time I see her she’ll be one!

Just wanted to share a few of my favorite photos of Cameron from our recent trip to Maui.  The trip was wonderful.  Cameron was 2 months during our trip and I know he won’t remember it, so I wanted to document this the best way I know how for him.  I want him to remember our leisurely strolls along the beach, the warmth of the sun on our skin, all the different shades of blue in the horizon, and listening to the waves crash as we drift off to sleep.  It was such a relaxing trip.

I love his expression in that last photo.  “I can’t believe you posted my butt on the internet!”

That photo was on our bed… the light in our room was to die for.
