I have been getting a lot of requests lately for couple’s boudoir and I LOVE it.  A couples boudoir session is a great supplement to an engagement session or a great way to celebrate your honeymoon, anniversary, or just because!  For any of you who are still on the fence, all I have to say is, just do it!  As with everything in life, you’ll never regret giving it a shot.  But if you don’t do it, you’ll never know.  And I guarantee you’ll have a great time, while having a (very intimate) piece of your story documented.

The details are just as important as the big picture when telling a story…

This is actually my first boudoir shot on 100% film. I have a new found love for black and whites. This was shot on my contax 645 with ilford hp 5 & delta… Both 400, though I pushed some.

This is different than my normal engagement sessions, but when they approached me about doing a sexier, more intimate, engagement session, I knew a couple’s boudoir session would be perfect!

I met this hot couple for the first time at the hotel.  One of the first things they said to me was how they are so old.   They joked that they thought I would freak out when I saw them and realized they weren’t young.  They are way modest because they are both in incredible shape and hot!

This was my first couples boudoir.  I approached it the same way I do my normal boudoir sessions… less is more.  Sexy to me is being suggestive and leaving lots to the imagination.

In the spirit of this past Valentine’s weekend, I thought I would spice it up around here.  I haven’t share any boudoir sessions in a while, so I was ecstatic when she allowed me to share these photos from her session!  She gave these to her fiance as his Valentine’s Day gift.  Lucky guy!  I always say this and I’ll say it again, but as great of a gift these make for others, it’s ultimately a gift for yourself.  When I did mine, I had never appreciated myself more than I did at that moment.   I felt empowered and it was all about having fun and just embracing myself for who I am.  Okay, enough talking.  Let me give you a little peak into our shoot…
