Art Deco-Nouveau | La Belle Epoque wedding inspiration

So much happened last week that I didn’t even get to keep up with this wonderful feature on Style Me Pretty!  This shoot was one of 3 shoots from my recent photography workshop.  We rented a giant house and all of us stayed under the same roof.  It was awesome.  The challenging part was that the house already had a “look” to it, so I brought my dear friend Wilmarose of Lovely Jubilee on to design something for us that’s inspired by the location, but prettier.  The concept was based on the Art Nouveau movement that swept across Europe just before the Art Deco movement.  She was inspired by La Belle Epoque – the beautiful era – and era where art, fashion & society flourished.  We were so fortunate to have Amanda (of 100 Layer Cake) and Tim model for us!  They are recently married and their wedding just came out in the recent issue of Martha Stewart Weddings mag!

Is this not the prettiest cake?  I love the gold details!
