Destination Wedding Photographer | Magazine Cover Shoot

I’m so excited to have shot the recent cover story for Destination I Do magazine, on newsstands now. It’s so much fun being a destination wedding photographer and an honor having photographed this magazine cover shoot. Designed by All You Need is Love, the shoot featured a bright sherbet color palette with ombre accents. The Hidden Garden created lush and colorful bouquets featuring garden roses, dahlias and astilbe for both the bride and bridesmaids. The bride wore a sleek dropped waist gown from Love and Lace Bridal Salon and a soft updo by Fiore Beauty.

Bright sherbet and soft pink bridesmaid dresses from Joanna August added a pop of color.

Gold foil and ombre wedding invitations by Gubba Gumma.

The ceremony featured a bright red and pink arbor decorated with lush garden roses and benches from Pretty Vintage Rentals.

Lush arrangements by The Hidden Garden featuring garden roses in shades of pink in footed brass containers.

Elegant appetizers by Contemporary Catering.

Ombre cake bites and celebratory cocktails for the dessert course by Beverly’s Best Bakery.

Elegant white buffet from Pretty Vintage Rentals served as the cake and dessert table.

Photojournalism is definitely a passionate career. Without proper commitment it isn’t possible to achieve your main goal in this field. It’s directly connected with third eye, that’s why it is simply not an easy task.

Mastin Labs Presets Review

For those who don’t know, I shoot both film & digital. People often ask how I edit my digital photos to blend with my film work, so I thought I’d put together this tutorial and give you my Mastin Labs Presets Review.

On the left is from my Contax 645, developed by Richard Photo Lab.

The center is straight out of camera, with my Canon EOS 5D Mark III and Canon EF 50mm f/1.2 L.

On the right is edited using Mastin Labs Fuji preset. I used Fuji Neutral, lens correction, and medium grain. I increased the exposure and temperature and that’s it! You can see a video of my live edit below.

Photojournalism is actually a serious career. Without correct motivation it is not easy to attain your primary goal in this area. It is directly associated with third eye, that is why it is simply not an easy job.
