A few years ago, Jackie hosted a single’s party for Valentine’s Day. One of her friends brought this cute guy along… and it was love at first sight. He was in his first year of medical school then. When he was about to start his residency in CA, they all packed up and moved across the country… and just bought their very first home together! When I first met them, they were still in escrow. Hearing them talk about their new place inspired me to shoot them in their first home together before they actually moved in. I wanted to capture them when the walls were still bare… the smell of fresh paint still lingered in the air… new furniture just delivered and still finding a place to settle… This big empty house is about to be filled with love.
